Just a reminder to be kind to those who serve you! I was getting my morning coffee the other day at my favorite drive thru coffee bar and one of the newer baristas asked me what I do. I explained that I am a counselor. The barista gushed all over how grateful they are that there are people like me out there helping people in need. I explained how grateful I am for them and the work they do, as without their smiles and good coffee to get me through my day I would not be able to do the work I do. I reminded them, we all play a part in supporting others and my role is no more important than theirs. This article is excellent.
